Camps
Camps provide another opportunity for PAL volunteers to education PAL kids in various life skills.

- Minnesota Youth Leadership Camp:

This camp is a partnership with the Minnesota State Patrol. The camp is designed
to reach at risk kids. It is an intense training camp meant to instill pride
in self and team, gain confidence, and teach conflict resolution skills. There is
a low officer to student ratio which makes training more personal. There is also an on-going follow-up with each kid by one of the instructors.
- Science Camp:
- This camp is a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. The
emphasis of this camp is on science education and study skills.
- Canoe Outreach Project:

A Boundary Waters wilderness trip with a very low officer to student ratio. Wilderness
skills are taught which include working as a team, survival and safety skills, and
a respect for the environment.

- Winner Circle Camp:

A five-day camp that teaches 7th to 9th grade students job readiness skills.

- Junior Counselor Camp:
-
A camp that trains high school kids about camp counseling and prepares them to become
a paid camp counselor.
There are several other camps available to our PAL Kids.
