All three of our PAL Raider football teams had games on Saturday October 22, 2011.

PAL Raiders 13U

13U played hard and it was a close game against Harrison at North High School.  PAL won with a score of 7 to 6. The 13U team started at 12:30 pm but the first score wasn’t until the 2nd quarter when Harrison scored a touchdown but couldn’t get the extra point. By half time the score was at 6 to 0, with Harrison in the lead. It wasn’t until the 3rd quarter that PAL scored on a 35 yard run and got the extra point to put them ahead 7 – 6. The final quarter was a defensive battle with both teams putting up impressive defensive stands.

PAL Raiders 11U

The 11U team played against Armatage and was defeated 21 to 0.  But the game was much closer than the score implies.  The PAL 11U team had two interceptions and an amazing catch at the sideline. Although it was not enough to pull out a win the PAL team played hard.

PAL Raiders 9U

The PAL 9U team played at Henry High School, against Eastside.  The final score was Eastside 2 to PAL 0.  The final two points occurred in the last 10 seconds of the game. This game was the closest PAL football contest of the year but PAL was not able to get the win.
