PAL Volunteers

The Minneapolis Police Activities League (PAL) relies heavily on volunteer support in order to deliver programming to youth. We have the following vacancies available for volunteer service:

Staff Writer

PAL is seeking writers to help produce articles for our various media products. Writers will attended PAL events, interview parents, coaches, and youth about their experiences with PAL and write stories for publication in PAL media outlets.

Photographer

PAL is seeking photographers to help capture the PAL story in still and video formats. Photographers will attend PAL events to take pictures and video of PAL youth in action. Images will be published on our website, newsletter, Facebook page, and other media outlets.

Office Support

PAL is seeking volunteers to help provide office support for the program. Duties will include answering the phone, filing, typing, sending out mailing, data entry, etc.

Coaches and Assistant Coaches

PAL is currently seeking volunteers to assist with coaching kids in various activities. While coaching experience is helpful it is not required.

All volunteers will be required to pass a background investigation prior to starting.
